This is a curated portfolio of dance and movement portraits created in my Johannesburg studio for dancers, performers, and people whose bodies carry discipline, control, and memory.
These portraits are not only about movement.
They are about awareness.
Effort.
Embodiment.
What the body learns over time.
Some feel sculptural.
Others feel lyrical.
All are shaped with restraint.
If you are looking for dance and movement portraits that feel refined, emotionally aware, and visually enduring, you can explore the work below.

This work is created for people who care about line, control, expression, and presence.
Some clients arrive needing portfolio portraits.
Others come to mark a season of training, recovery, change, or personal growth.
In both cases, the aim is the same:
To create portraits that honour not only how the body looks — but what it has learned.
Each portrait is shaped with intention.
My role is to slow it down.
To guide it carefully.
To turn it into something lasting.
Every image is shaped through light, posture, gesture, timing, and restraint so that the final portrait feels clear rather than busy, powerful rather than exaggerated, and personal rather than generic.
A quieter high-key study of form and tone also exists within this work.
